200-Hour Teacher Training — Frequently Asked Questions

Can I miss any days of yoga teacher training?

To get the most out of your experience, full participation is encouraged and important for completion of the program.

That said, we understand that life happens. If you need to miss time, we’ll work with you to create a plan to make it up—whether through private sessions, additional coursework, or other supportive options. In some cases, make-up hours may include an additional fee.

Our goal is to support you through the process and ensure you feel confident, prepared, and fully complete by the end—we’ll figure it out together.

Are you a Yoga Alliance Registered School?

Full Body Fitness & Yoga has all required materials prepared for Yoga Alliance registration and will walk through the application process once this training is confirmed.

Upon approval, graduates will have the option to register as RYT-200 teachers through Yoga Alliance.

A gentle reminder: Yoga Alliance registration is not a measure of the quality or depth of your training—it’s simply a professional registry. What truly matters is the experience, knowledge, and confidence you build throughout your journey.

Are books and materials included in the cost of the training?

The cost of books is not included in your tuition. Reading materials typically total under $100 and will be provided to you in advance of the training start date.

When will I find out if I have been accepted into the program?

Once your application and deposit are received, you’ll receive an email confirmation within one week regarding your acceptance into the program.

How much time is required for homework or outside work?

Expect to spend about 1–2 hours per week on homework or reading assignments, along with:

  • Daily personal practice (as little as 15 minutes a day)

  • Seva (service project): 15 total hours

  • Practice teaching: 30–60 minutes per week

These activities are designed to help you integrate what you’re learning into your life and teaching.

Will I be a certified yoga teacher?

Technically, there’s no such thing as a “certified yoga teacher.” Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive a 200-Hour Teacher Training Certificate of Completion from Full Body Yoga & Wellness LLC which qualifies you to begin teaching yoga. You can then register as RYT-200 yoga teachers through Yoga Alliance.

Will I be able to teach after completing the program?

Yes! Upon completing all program requirements, you will graduate as a 200-hour trained yoga teacher. Many graduates begin teaching in studios, wellness centers, and community spaces shortly after completing their training.
