Find Your Flow is a 90-minute workshop that teaches proper alignment and how to modify the most common Vinyasa flow - Sun Salutation A - to meet your body where it is today.

Sun Salutations are classic flows found in Vinyasa style yoga classes. If you’ve ever been to a yoga class, chances are you’ve done some variation of this flow and have experienced the challenge of moving into, holding, and moving out of these poses.

This workshop is designed to help you overcome these challenges by finding your unique flow through a variety of modified transitions and poses while maintaining proper alignment. By identifying the modifications that work for your body, you’ll be able to set a foundation from which you can build strength, flexibility, and most importantly, confidence in your yoga practice.

What is Vinyasa Flow?

Vinyasa Flow is the connecting of breath to movement through a series of yoga poses (asanas). The most common Vinyasa Flows are known as Sun Salutations A & B. In the Find Your Flow workshop, we breakdown Sun Salutation A while experimenting with a range of modifications to customize movement to your body, discovering your flow along the way.

Why does alignment matter?

Aligning your body properly is key to avoiding injury while also receiving the great benefits that yoga has to offer. For most, the perfect poses depicted in books, on social media, and elsewhere aren’t available - particularly early in one’s walk with yoga. That’s why we created this workshop - to help you find a safe, invigorating flow that’s unique to you.

No. This workshop is outside of our standard class options, as it is more involved than a standard class. The goal is to provide you with a comfortable, but challenging flow that is customized to your body’s unique abilities and limitations.
